Right around Anneliese's first birthday, we did a really fun family photo shoot in Hanford's Chinatown neighborhood, China Alley, with Retrospective Imagery (whose photographer has now moved to Pensacola, FL). So I thought it would be fun to take both of the kids back there for a few pictures before we left California.
The area has rich history and significance for the Hanford Chinese population, and a Moon Festival is held each year in October.

But what I love, for photos, is the rich colors and different textures which line the street. Nothing falsely aged or weathered. Just real 125-year-plus buildings.

Goodbye, beautiful China Alley!
